Dr. Thealyssa is a compassionate and highly skilled GP who blends traditional medicine with a modern integrative approach, bringing a unique perspective to patient care. Over the past six months, she has been training under the mentorship of Dr. Nayana Shah, further refining her skills and gaining hands-on experience in integrative health. Her practice merges the best of conventional medicine with holistic strategies to ensure her patients receive well-rounded, personalized care.
Her journey into integrative health began with a deeply personal experience, witnessing firsthand how integrative treatment significantly improved a family member’s health. This inspired her to explore beyond conventional methods and dive into the world of integrative medicine. She is currently pursuing specialized training with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) and is on track to become a fellow of the College, continuing her professional growth in holistic care.
Originally from Singapore, Dr. Thealyssa earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Auckland, along with a Paediatric Diploma—a testament to her dedication to comprehensive healthcare for all ages. Now a GP registrar at Turuki Health Care, she has developed a special interest in women’s health, nutrition, and empowering patients to take control of their well-being through informed choices.
